All Philosophy and Ethics A levels, whichever board you study, will have 6 units (3 AS and 3 A2). The AS has an introductory unit which will contain discreet Philosophy and Ethics elements. A2 has a 'synoptic' paper, which combines elements of Philosophy and Ethics in one paper.
The AQA 'synoptic' unit (Studies in Religion and Human Experience) is quite different from the OCR unit, and will probably be taught separately. Ask your teacher/tutor for more information.
