Many people still hope to meet that special someone, fall in love, get married and start a family. The ideal of lifelong married bliss is a wonderful aspiration, but does it work in practice?

Can young people today really wait until they get married to have sex? Why should they wait? What does the Church have to say, and why does it matter?

If a couple do get married, what next? Is it the wife's job to stay at home and look after the house? If that's just an outdated stereotype, what is the woman's role when she falls pregnant and has children?

This unit also looks at what happens when marriage breaks down, and asks whether Christianity should allow divorce or remarriage.
