Reproductive Cloning
Human reproductive cloning is still science fiction - it hasn't happened yet, and isn't legally allowed to happen in most countries. However, it has happened with lots of animals, some of them closely related to humans. It is only a matter of time before human cloning occurs.
Is it wrong to clone a human being? Why would people want to make clones? If it did happen, what would be the status of the clone - would it have the same value as a human born the natural way?
As well as asking these questions, we also need to think about a Christian perspective on cloning. Christians believe that God created the world and everyone in it, and he has a plan for each one of us. Does this also count for clones?
